Why build a pantry to measure

Stock pantry cabinets come in fixed widths and heights, so the gap beside them and the space above them usually end up empty or covered with filler panels. A custom pantry follows your ceiling height and the exact width of the wall, and that leftover space becomes storage. Because the pantry is drawn in the same 3D design as the kitchen, the doors, the finish and the refrigerator opening line up with the cabinets around them.

How we plan your pantry

At the design visit we measure the wall and ask what you buy, how often you shop and which appliances you want off the counter. Everyday items go between hip and shoulder height, heavy goods go into low drawers and the things you use a few times a year go up top. Our mobile showroom van brings door, finish and granite samples to your home, so you choose them in the light of your own kitchen. The 3D design costs nothing.

Ideas on zoning, pull-out hardware and walk-in pantries are in our guide Custom Pantry Cabinet Ideas. A pantry is usually planned with new custom kitchen cabinets and often with a custom kitchen island, and in Central Florida it pays to read about cabinet materials for Florida humidity before choosing the finish.

Frequently asked questions

How much do custom pantry cabinets cost in Orlando?

It depends on the size of the wall, the pull-outs and the finish, so the price comes from the 3D design and a written quote. When the pantry is part of a full kitchen, complete custom kitchens with MJC start at $15,000.

Can the pantry match my new kitchen cabinets?

Yes. The pantry is built in the same Orlando shop as the rest of your cabinets, so doors and finishes can match.

Is the pantry design free?

Yes. We measure the space and design the pantry in 3D at no cost.
